Emma graduated with a BSc honours degree in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin in 2012 and is a registered member of the ISCP and CORU.
Emma has spent the last 11 years working in Singapore as a Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor in both the public and private healthcare system.
She was first introduced to Pilates during university after suffering a back injury and used Physiotherapy and Pilates to regain the strength and mobility required to continue her studies. This personal experience encouraged her to further study Pilates and understand how the benefits can be translated into Physiotherapy treatments.
Emma is a certified Polestar Pilates comprehensive rehabilitation practitioner in all Pilates apparatus and is Stott Pilates Mat and Reformer trained.
Over the last few years, she has specialised in treating clients with Physio-Pilates, integrating Pilates as part of the rehabilitation process, and is looking forward to continuing using this method as part of the Platinum Pilates team.
